Dr. Bastian is a board-certified, licensed acupuncturist and Herbalist and co-founder of Back To Total Health Palm Springs.He began his studies in Chinese Medicine in 1995 in New York City. He completed his western pre-med program at the University of San Francisco and holds a Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, graduating with honors from Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, CA. Dr. Bastian completed his Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, graduating with high honors from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA. Dr. Bastian is the first and only acupuncturist to ever be certified in Chiropractic BioPhysics!
Dr. Bastian's work and studies stem from a deep desire to assist people in overcoming physical and emotional challenges to improve their health and well-being. Using primarily acupuncture and traditional herbal formulas, he facilitates your path to healing, overall health and mind/body well-being.
When appropriate, next-level personalized care is achieved through the use of adjunct medical therapies that may combine the use of nutritional counseling, massage, breathwork, hypnosis or other western medical treatments. Dr. Eric Swartz's journey into healthcare began during the vibrant fitness era of the 1980s as a fitness instructor at Jane Fonda's iconic workout studio in Los Angeles. This experience propelled him into the realm of celebrity personal training; eventually he became an international fitness presenter, sharing his expertise across the globe.
In 2001, Dr. Swartz earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Drawing from his extensive background in fitness, he seamlessly integrated chiropractic care with fitness principles to develop a unique treatment methodology.
Dr. Swartz is the only Coachella Valley chiropractor combining advanced techniques such as Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP), decompression tables, and spinal correction tables. His approach is comprehensive, using computer imaging and evidence-based statistics to address the root causes of spinal issues. This ensures that each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs.
Dr. Swartz's treatment repertoire includes diversified technique, full spine adjustments, and a variety of advanced therapies such as interferential current, muscle stimulation, ultrasound, and activator methods.

Dr. John Kowalczyk, DO is a Urology Specialist in Van Nuys, CA and has over 31 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Kowalczyk has more experience with Urologic Surgery, Urologic Care, and Calculi (stones) than other specialists in his area. He graduated from Chicago College Of Osteopathic Medicine Of Midwestern University, Midwestern University medical school in 1989. He is affiliated with medical facilities such as California Hospital Medical Center and Cedars - Sinai Medical Center.
